Tuesday 25th May Johns class we updated our blogs and made sure we had our Alloa Tower blog were fully upto date
Angies class we went back upto the garden and drew using charcoal and chalk
Wednesday 26th May Gavins class we watch four documentaries and studied them to help us do our nabs next week
Friday Brians class we updated out blogs and finished off loose ends with the alloa tower project
Alloa Tower
We started planning our Alloa Tower trip in Johns class using the internet and watching the pervious years work on Alloa Tower, We then had to decided what part of the tower we were to present and film.
We researched that part and planned out a script before to got to go film we had to make a storyboard which we decided we would film from the bottom and work our way up to the roof which was the part i was doing.
We went out to get pictures of Alloa Tower ourselves, we could only get the outside we used these pictures in Angies class using mono printing.
We then got to go and film our documentary then took them back to the class and edited them so we could put them onto a DVD.
We still had to make the CD cover which we made in Brians class using photoshop elements and using one of the pictures we took a couple of weeks earlier.

1. Sadie Benning - 2006 Play Pause - Two channel video installation from hard drive, color digital video/ drawings on paper).
2. Peter Campus - 1923 Three Transitions - He uses chromakey processors and video mixers to create videos in the studio.
3. Douglas Gordon - Much of Gordon's work is seen as being about memory and uses repetition in various forms. He uses material from the public realm and also creates performance-based videos. His work often overturns traditional uses of video by playing with time elements and employing multiple monitors.

Tuesday 18th May - Johns class we done some more editing on the Alloa Tower Documentary.
Angies class some of us kept going with our Alloa Tower sewing, and the rest updated their sketchbook. I got most of my sewing finished and updated my sketchbook.
Wednesday 19th May - Gavins class jamie done more editing on the Jerry Springer type show , the rest of us got all the comical sounds and themes tunes etc into place and i changed the credits since it were poorly put together.
Friday 21st May - Brians class we printed off our DVD covers and made changes to them.
Angies class it was a lovely day so angie took us to the college garden to draw parts of the garden with charcoal and chalk.

Tuesday 11th May Johns class we went to Alloa Tower to film our documentary which i think we done pretty well for being left to our own devices! we just need to edit and put it on a disk and were done.
Angies class we tried a little sewing to get away from mono printing which was a nice change we tried sewing our pictures of Alloa Tower onto a bit a fabric after were finished we either rip the paper off and your design is underneath or just leave the paper and use your picture on the other side not sure what one i will use yet get back to you on that!!

Tuesday 27th April - John's Class we had a look at a film he mad in Uni of the Falkirk Wheel, and we had a look at a book about filming a documentary which was interesting. .!!
