Our progress with my groups animation. . .

Friday 11th December

This week we carried on with our animations. I worked more on the background it needs some changes but its getting there. I also started making the track using foambored and sandpaper to make an effect. Rab and i also made a mascot together. We are nearly ready to film.

Rock Band

A couple of weeks ago my group made a trial run of an animation we named it Rock Band. i cant upload the video since it is too big but here are a couple of photos of the animation.

Friday 4th December

This week we have started our animation project my group have decided that we are doing a football mascot race.

We have been carrying on with our animation on in fridays classes as well.

Tuesday
We got into our groups and made a little plasticine animation my group made a little rock band. ave not seen it put all together yet so that will be interesting to see how turned out i will post it when it is put together.

Thursday
In gavins class we talked about doing our talks if we were gony do them in front of the class or only in front of gavin i choose infront of gavin, am going to do my talk on the society of autism al update you on that next week.

Friday
We made another animation using stop motion about Show Racism The Red Card, The week before we all done our own storyboards but picked rabs to do the animation on. im rather impressed with our first stop motion animation its only around 10secs long but impressive.

BBC is informative website, with items such as local and international news, all the news from sports and weather. You can use this sit as your homepage and customize it to your liking. Its offers you add-ons such as music, food, tv channels, radio etc. BBC can also be sed as a search engine but is not as good as others.

Google is another informative website with pretty muh the same to offer except Google is the bigest search engine it is used by nearly every household. Once you have an account with google you can add silly little things to our page such as games and horoscopes and make it more personal.

Text Editing

Blogger is a site where you can blog what your up to this site i think is more for school/college students. The layout is pretty basic in comparison with other blogging sites, but it serves it purpose for my college course.

Bebo is another blogging site, but it is more for fun. This site is more commonly used than most other blogging sites. You can add friends, post pictures and videos and comment on anybody's site who lets you. Just like blogger you can change font and layout.

Photo Sharing.

Flickr is a popular photo sharing website, the main features on this website are 1. You can make a blog of all your photos and let as many people as you want to comment on them you can also comment on their photos. 2. Their are many ways of uploading your photos onto Flickr such as through an e-mail or a camera phone. 3. Editing your photos, this tool lets you fix photos etc. 4. Getting updates from friends and family.

Photo bucket is another popular photo sharing website it has about the same main features as flickr but some different ones such as, 1. You don't need to have an account to look at the photos. 2. You can mix photos music and videos together to post on profile etc.

Tuesday 29th September

Media Production: We carried on with our rent projects. We finished our writing part of things so next week we will make up our webpage we also decided who would do the podcast and who would do the web design.

Design Activity: We carried on with our idea boards making our own designs.

Thursday 1st October

Communication: We started to write up our reviews on Linkin Park.

Media Analysis: We were talking about media language, learning about camera angles etc

Tutorial: We went down to the learning room with computers.

Tuesday 22nd September
Digital Media/Video Production: Went down to finance to sort out money.

Design Activity: We carried on with our idea boards getting photos from the computer and magazines to stick to A3? paper

Thursday 24th September
Communication/Media Analysis: In the morning we went into groups of 2 or 3 and doone judge jury we had to decide wether the song was a hit or miss and discuss why we thought it was either hit or miss. In the afternoon we were split into groups of 4, we had to decide a genre and do conventions of a musical genre.

Tutorial: Choose out class reps.

Friday 25th September
Web Content: We were in our groups again. We done more research and started writing out our EPK, as a group we discussed what pages we would have.

Design and Make: Back to our idea boards. now we had to start coming up with our own idea taking ideas from our idea boards ahahaa

Web Content/Digital Media.

We went into our groups and researched more on the musical rent by ymts who are performing in fife on the 17th of october.
We found pictures and some information on it but couldn't find the cast names of the people performing in it this year!
Design and Make.
We had to take the pictures we found earlier and find some more pictures in magazines to stick onto a a black A2 black paper for an ideas page to report back to the rest of the group.

Media Analysis/Communication.

In class today we done a letter complaint about should or shouldn't smoking be banned.

We then got spilt into two groups. One group had to argue that smoking should be banned and the other group had to argue that smoking shouldn't be banned.

Tutorial.

We went down to the learning zone and done quizzes on safety etc.

Search Engines!!
search engines are websites that find and supply websites of many variety.
Most search engine have a useful link to look up images and videos.
You can also get directions to place from maps on most search engines.
I would say that google and yahoo are the most popular search engines, here are a couple or previews or some search engines.
